I cuscinetti Thomson FluoroNyliner sono realizzati con in polimeri più avanzati disponibili. Le guide lineari FluoroNyliner sono praticamente immune a condizioni avverse, quali le interferenze delle acque di lavaggio e interferenze magnetiche. La resistenza alla contaminazione delle guide lineari FluoroNyliner è conforme alle specifiche FDA ed opera in temperature da -400 °F (-270 °C) a 550 °F (270 °C).
