The manual override option, which is available with several Thomson electric linear actuators, can solve this dilemma. Note: Electrak HD shown in video. The tool shown is a low-torque electric screwdriver. Please do not use high-torque/RPM power tools when using the manual override as it can result in damage to the actuator.
